I get a phone call one day at work from a shipping company that wants to deliver a large stuffed fish. Now I knew that my other Boss (Keith) had a couple of fish being mounted so stupid me assumed that was what they were calling about. They tell me that they are delivering them to the office, which is cool. I call Keith and He says no...He wants them delivered to his house. hmmm. I don't have the number of the shipping company so I call the company that mounted the fish to see about changing the delivery location. They proceed to tell me that Keith's fish are not ready to be shipped...in fact He still owed some shipping on the fish that had to be paid before they would ship out. hmmmm. I call Jimmy and ask if he has a fish being mounted. He says no...which changes to a yes after some inquiries and several phone calls. I asked Him where He had it mounted so that i could contact them about the delivery. His response was...."somewhere in Florida. There couldn't be that many of them". *BLINKBLINK*

I call the company that has Keith's fish to see if it was possibly the same company...as it too was in Florida. Nope...no order for Jimmy. hmmmm. I ask them if they know of any other mounting companies in Florida...only a few thousand! LOL They do give me the names of some good possibilities so i call them and after a few phone calls I find them and sure nuff...Jimmy's fish was there and being delivered. Please keep in mind this process took approximately 5 hours of my day. Searching for dead fish!

Hello and welcome to my world! This blog is dedicated to my Boss, Jimmy. He is a great Guy and I really enjoy working for him and like my job (most of the time lol). He definitely has his own way of thinking about things, though. After laughing about some of them one day Rox (the girl I work with) suggested I make a web page dedicated to Him and His way of thinking.

The very first one that comes to mind is Him bringing me one flourescent light bulb, the small screw in type for lamps etc and telling me that it was a 5 yr light bulb that went out after several months (no one actually knows how long ago it was). "Find the receipt for this so I can take it back cause it didnt' last 5 yrs" Now please keep in mind we are electrical contractors...so finding a receipt for a single light bulb is virtually impossible! The cost of the bulb is about 7.00 for a 4 pack. Looking up a receipt for it would take several hours and probably never ever be found. hmmmmm maybe i should just go buy Him another 4 pack and tell Him i found the receipt and replaced it!
